Management Team
The founders of Stream are well-known veterans of the telecommunications industry, with a cumulative experience of several hundred years. We have worked on both sides of the equation, helping operators and vendors in 24 countries. Here are the members of Stream's Management Team:
Craig Robinson, Vice President of Engineering and Operations
Mr. Robinson has more than 20 years of telecommunications experience, with a background in strategic planning, network design and network deployment.
Mr. Robinson’s career includes work with wireless network operators and consulting services firms where his focus was centered on feasibility analysis, technology consulting, and metro/last mile network design and deployment. He most recently served as Director of Fixed Network Engineering at Wireless Facilities, Inc., where he was responsible for fixed network engineering and spectrum relocation activities. Before joining WFI, Mr. Robinson served as Director of Fixed Network Engineering at LCC International, Inc. and was responsible for core network engineering, transport/transmission engineering, network optimization, switching and subsystem planning, and transport facility implementation for microwave, leased line, and fiber optic systems.
Prior to joining LCC, he served as Manager of Systems Engineering at Cisco Systems, where he was responsible for strategic planning for aspects of Cisco’s Soft Switch development and implementation. Mr. Robinson has also served as the Manager of Transport Engineering for Teligent and as a consultant at Booz, Allen, Hamilton in the company's telecommunications practice.
Mr. Robinson received his bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
Efrain Cortez, Vice President of Sales and Business Development
Mr. Cortez has more than 20 years of telecommunications experience that includes various engineering roles for wireless and wire line operators, start-up operations and technical consulting.
Before joining Stream Wireless, Mr. Cortez was Vice President of Sales at LCC International. He also served as Director of Fixed Network Engineering and Vice President of Sales and Business Development at WFI. Prior to WFI, he was involved with start-up wireless network engineering projects in Mexico with Pegaso and in South Africa with Cell C. He also held various engineering management positions at Ameritech.
Mr. Cortez received a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and a master's degree in Telecommunications from DePaul University.
